SOAR Jamison to Host Inaugural “Three Pink Ladies” Breast Cancer Gala on
Oct. 18 Pink Tie evening at The Drexelbrook will fund direct financial relief for cancer survivors and give back to Jefferson Oncology.
DREXEL HILL, Pa. — Oct. 5, 2026 — SOAR Jamison Healing & Family Support Services will host
its inaugural Three Pink Ladies Breast Cancer Gala on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at
The Drexelbrook Catering & Event Center, 4700 Drexelbrook Drive, Drexel Hill, Pa.
The “Pink Tie” evening will bring together breast cancer survivors, their families, health care partners
and community leaders for dinner, guest speakers, an awards ceremony, a silent auction and
dancing. The gala aims to raise $50,000 in net proceeds and to welcome 150 to 200 guests.
The event takes its name from the story at the heart of the organization. Founder and CEO Lati`a
Sheppard-Wilson, her mother and her sister were each diagnosed with breast cancer across three
generations. All three are survivors.
“The words ‘you have breast cancer’ came into our family three separate times,” Sheppard-
Wilson said. “Three women walked into treatment, and three women walked out. This gala is
how we say thank you, and how we make sure the next woman does not have to fight alone.”
Proceeds will support two priorities. The first is the Della & Daughters Cancer Survivor Support
Fund, named for the family matriarch and her daughters. The fund places money directly in the
hands of survivors for everyday expenses, including rent, groceries, transportation to treatment and
child care, with a goal of serving more than 50 cancer survivors and family members within 12
months of the gala.
The second is Jefferson Oncology, whose care teams treated all three women in the founder’s
family. “Surviving is not the end of the story,” Sheppard-Wilson said. “The bills do not stop for cancer. A
family can beat the disease and still be broken by the cost of surviving it. The Della & Daughters
Fund exists to close that gap.”
Dr. Stefania Nolano, Regional Director of the North Region Breast Program at Jefferson Health, will
deliver keynote remarks. Jefferson Health is among the gala’s confirmed sponsors.
